Tiscalizer was created mostly as a joke but has gone on to become my most-played character. The stereotypical superhero garb and garish green and purple colour scheme are in reference to the corporate colours of the European ISP Tiscali, where I was employed for two years.
Tiscalizer's powersets were chosen without too much thought. I wanted a Corrupter to do damage from range and radiation sounded fairly cool. I noted that Thermal Resonance confers a rez and chose that for my secondary without further consideration.
As I played Tiscalizer, however, I came to spend far less time on the offensive and found myself concentrating on healing. Alas I had fallen into the trap that ensnares many new players of this game, for I had underestimated the value of buffs and debuffs. At level 30 Tiscalizer respecced into a more rounded build and after a long hiatus transferred to the Freedom server to start his career afresh.
